Hey everyone. I got pulled over tonight around 9 PM on my way home from work. The police officer said that my rear taillights were not working, and my brakelights werent working at all. He had me get out and look, and they were "very" faint and you could only see them from within about 2 feet of them. I do have the clear taillights, and they have the APC LED bulbs in them. These are the bulbs that have about 15 LEDs on them. I have been having trouble with the left one working intermitently for about 2 months, but then tonight they both went out including the 3rd brakelight. Anyone have any ideas as to what may be the problem?

Thanks,
Andy

my buddy had a problem similar to that in his honda and it was his illimunation wire groundign out behind his cd player. It also could be you brake switch

could a brake switch not working, cause the taillights not to work also. I would think that it would just cause the brakelights not to work.

sounds like a bad ground

Where are the taillights grounded?

I replaced the bulbs and they work fine again. We'll see if they go out again.
