I'll probably turn out to be the "adult" -- telling you kids "hey dont do that", or "you dont wanna to go to the timeout corner again do you?"

I'm slacking here too though, and I really dont plan to do any wheeling until the D60 is in so right now, my Explorer is just sitting. I've been working more on the Samurai than anything else -- tonight I was at it till 12:30am buttoning everything down for its trip to CA. But right now, fabricating is more pleasing than actually wheeling, maybe its just the trails here that are getting boring.

Oh that's right. Well, you know an idea had jumped into my mind. Hopefully, I'll have a couple bucks put away by the time this comes around, and I had gotten this crazy idea. What if when the time comes for this run, I start searching the classifieds out there for a rock rig, and just fly into whatever city I find it in, and actually wheel out there?

Oh i know what you mean. I like to kick back and just enjoy everyone else doing something stupid. Im really easy on the trails but if i get the next rig done in time i might change a little on my wheeling style.


Man if you get a rig down here if i need to go pick it up earlier i can try to do that if ya need that.

allrighty. Found a few good ones already. The good thing about the blazer is that is has gotten me out of the explorer rut. I love explorers, but it's a pricey hobby.

Hey guys,

You can count me for October depending on the dates (i will probably do a Rausch Creek run in early october) I will probably be on the easy (to medium) list.

I am running a 99 4dr explorer with body lift, 33 inch tires, and a winch. Gears have been modified to 4:10 with limited slip.
Right now stock bumpers and hitch mounts are holding me back due to poor approach and departure angles. i also tend to get "high centered"due to the longer wheel base so i also need to get some body armor underneath.

I should have that resolved by then.
