1999 ford explorer sport
I have had my 1999 ford explorer sport for about a year now and I can't figure out why the temperature overhead display is show the wrong temperature. Could it be the gauge has gone bad? Any ideas can help me.

Could just be a bad sensor. It's on the radiator support, to the left of the headlight assembly behind the grille.

Dumb question, but it's not on Celsius, is it?

not i already checked that but thanks for ur help

It has to be the overhead console then, only 2 things that affect that reading. How did you check the sensor?
