Motorsports Ranch in Cresson was the site for the Texas Shelby 350 put on by American Muscel (Mid America).
Thursaday was a the 1.7 mile track and friday they opened up the lower section to allows us to run the 3.1 mile course, I teched in with the big boys and ran group 1.
Since this was a fun run and no competition involved, I was putting the whoop'n on the SSBC Big Bite brake kit from LRS and was doing some serious laaaaaaate braking which caught the caliper boots on fire, after a front pad change and system flush I was back on the track doing it again, BTW these brakes have seen 5 very hard track events and daily driving, before any service.
