I bought a 95 Xplorer last year for the wife to drive during the winter. It had a 145000 miles on it when we bought it and now has a little over 155000. The body and interior are in great shape, no rips stains cracks or dents the only rust is a couple of places in the rear bumper. If it makes it through this winter I will probably look at replacing the rear bumper and have it painted since it is fading and the clear coat is bad in some places. So far I have been able to fix the door ajar problem. replaced the front hub bearing assemblies, replace the blower resistor, replace the transfer case shift motor, replace the temperature sending unit and the thermostat. I owe it all to the great posts I found on this forum. I do belive if you have an Xplorer and have any type of problem you can find the answer here if you just take the time do do a little reading. This site has been a lot more helpful than the Chilton's manual I purchased.
