- 01 Sport Trac
We just bought a 2001 Sport Trac from the 2nd owners, who of course didn't have the keypad code. This site was A LOT of help, thanks to this forum I found it under the defrost vents.
I'm also going to switch out the base series console (with a broken armrest blah and my husband can't stand the bag) for the high series console. Which again this site helped me by leading me to mysporttrac's step by step directions.
So Thank You!
I am getting the high series console out of a 2003 that in our local salvage yard later today (they are pulling it for me as having a 3 year old around a junk yard is a bit risky!), paid $50 for the console/bracket/as much of the wiring harness as they can get to and $10 for the air duct plus another $15 for them to pull it all for me. I think I'm getting a pretty good deal
Since we just bought the ST what would you all recommend for it's first tune-up? It's got 120k miles on it, doesn't appear to have ever gone off roading or used for towing anything, and it runs really well. Just want to make sure it stays that way.
