I went from DD to the AA Mayhem. I do love me some DD's tho :D Which ones you running?

Two 3515s with two Sundown 1200d's at .75

I used to live by the 95's but trying to provide the 3krms each one of them like is hard ;)

my friend is wanting a DD 9515. he has an mtx 9515, so it'll be a nice step up. but he only has a 1k watt amp. he's gonna want/need to step that up too

Eh, I wouldnt suggest it. I would suggest a Juggernaut with around 1.5k..

Once you get past 1500 you have to start upgrading everything... It gets very pricey, and when you try and take shortcuts because you have just enough to hook it up, but missing something to keep that electrical up you will just get burned..

I would suggest other companys and subs but I have not personally used them

oh trust me, i know. i usually suggest to start upgrading once you get up around 1k worth of power. but he wants to. i never thought about some juggs tho. ima throw that idea his way. otherwise it's still gonna be DD

Looks good man

From the title of the thread, I thought you were gonna be blowing out windows or something. :D

After Iraq ruined my hearing, the stock sub in my Mounty is plenty for my ears. :)

New numbers up from this weeks show.... All sealed up, box tuned to 30.5hz I'm doing 146.7 on music(With the love for money song off DJ drama cd)

I need some sound deadening baaad lol.

And we tested the amps actual RMS output....3,995 we came up with but the meter could have been off, we're going to try with a better one soon to see if that # changes. And if it really is that high then I think my ports are a little small and need to move up to 3 6" ports. Because with that amount of power I should be putting up higher numbers.

And impedance rise is minimal too, which is nice :D

How many cuft is your box and what is the port area you have now? Even 3 6" ports only equals about 86sqin. of port area.

Looks like a nice install and I bet it kills the lows tuned that low. Might want to go a bit higher tho. ;)

It is 8cuft before displacement. Yeah it loves lows lol. It's favorite song right now is DJ Drama-Love for Money (Ft. Trey Songz, Willie the Kid, Gucci Mane, La the Darkman, Yung Joc, Bun B & Flo Rida)

I'm too gangsta for sound deadening. :P

But yeah it will be getting done when i tear everything out and work on next years set up. I'm most likely going to a second 18" and amp in a wall...
