I just don't understand why alot of kids from the northern states either don't take their car to college or get rid of it. Completely different cultures from here in TX I guess.

My parents said the same thing "we are keeping your car here your first year of college because u dont need one." luckily i convinced them otherwise, but my speeding ticket tonight most likely wont help my cause. the cop was a real a-hole too by the way

Yeah, a lot of colleges actually dont want freshman to have cars. Purdue is that way and it sucks! 1 week without my car and i cant imaging 3+ months til i get to go back for break without seeing my x. :-(
