okay im bored and i feel like telling all of you what i plan to do with my mounty to add to the small list of mods in my signature.
im out of town right now but right before i left i got my volant intake at my door and put it in, that was very exciting. im coming home in a couple days and here's he 3 things im going to do the moment i get back, i read about them in the under the hood section a couple days ago.
-reduce the slack in my throttle cable.
-adjust my throttle position sensor.
then i've just been thinking i was going to
-create a plexi glass top for my volant intake box so you can see the filter.
now here comes the 2 money things i plan on doing
-order the screamin deamon coil pack
-bamachip <this is where all the mods i've done are really gona come together i think...
i answered my own question about chips and i'll be going with bama chips for sure. the xcalibrator is very expensive so i was wondering if someone has one i could possibly borrow, like have you send it to doug then have him program it then send it to me then i'll send it back to the owner when im done? i'll pay for all the shipping of course. is this even possible? im not trying to rip doug off i just dont have the money... or can i buy a used one for a decent price?
can someone explain to me though, what's the advantage to having 3 programs? what kinds of differences would there be between the 3? can you swich between them somehow?
also, i cant find the friggin' ECU on my 98 merc. mounty. where is it? (picture would help)
well the mounty is comin along strong. i love it to death and its funny thinking about all that i've done to it. i got it for my 18th birthday (kinda) and i havent even had it for a year. hasn't seen a shop yet (except the muffler shop to have a pipe bent when i got the flowmaster) i do all the work my self and im damn proud of it. the money, time, and care i've put into it makes me so proud. when i park it in the garage i just stare at it for a couple minuets and it feels so good. all i have for a lift is the TT and Shackles and the 31's but it just feels so good rolling down the street and hearing the flowmaster roar, the intake suck, and the system bump. the cool thing is i can just be driving down the road and see a trail and pull right off. i think some of you guys know how i feel. it's great.
