Yesterday I went and picked up the first Explorer I ever owned and brought it back home. My sister bought it from me years ago. She's been abused and my sister just wanted to get rid of it. So she gave it to me so my son and I can fix it up for him to drive for High School here in a couple of years.
So far I need to rehang the front bumper after straightening a bracket.
Replace the WAR153 Shackles, after 17 years they're rusting through.
Replace the exhaust manifold gaskets.
Replace the stage 8 header bolts (I was ecstatic to see it still had the Ford Racing Headers).
Replace the front seats or get seat covers.
Replace the two front speakers.
Attempt to pop a dent out of the rear hatch.
Change all fluids.
Replace plug wires
Lets start here over the next few months and see how she runs...
