thinking about repaint to this color

ok guy's the paint/color on my truck is awsome..i love the green and all..but i REALLY love the ivory pearl that also came on 96-98 explorer limited's.. now this would be down the road a few year's..but you like the idea?

I've always thought the green was a unique color and I like it. The pearl looks too much like the Mary Kay pink you see on the Caddys.

I like them both. But if you were to spend the $$ to repaint, why not make it something unique? Both colors are nice, but I'd ditch the pin stripes on each.

I was thinking the same thing. At first I was thinking you wanted to get rid of that color before I read who posted. I don't think that it would be a good idea to go that route. Looks rather feminine.

Agreed. It's a nice color but the color make the truck looks dull from far away...as if the truck has been negleted. You should keep your green.

first off PIN-STRIP's are STAYING!!!! it look's like CRAP without them!!

trust me it's not pink..it's a REALLY REALLY nice white/ivory pearl..i have wanted this color from the start..i love the evergreen frost green..but this color is the shiz!!..and it would be pretty rear there's only 3 other one's in town..i want to go orange..but that would be to "LOOK AT ME" to a high school student..and resale would drop

maybe i will just stay with the green and just match everything..

I like those pinstripes. They are a whole lot better than the XLT's. The color is not pink, just think of a white egg. That's the color.

I suggest you to stay with green. The Ivory Pearlescent Tri-Coat is a very difficult color to paint because it's a lot more extensive than a basic or metallic color. So it would cost a lot to paint that color on your truck. Plus, factory paint is always more durable than aftermarket. Also, your resale may go down anyway because the sticker on the door jamb say it's Everfrost Green instead of Ivory Pearlescent Tri-Coat. So...just stay with green.

..lol i would not be doing the truck if it was painted..a family friend with a costom paint shop would..i don't know..it's just such a nice color with the pearl and all..but i prolly will just stay with what i have(and be happy)..maybe go 2tone with the green over somthing..just to be different..somthing to think about..i have seen many of these ivory/pearl limited's in the past..and my dad alomost got one insted of his 97..it's just such a "classy" color

i don't know how the green 2 tone with the ivory pearl would be..i was thinkin more a light gold or somthing..and by two toned i mean like 1st gen explorer's..top green or ivory and the bottom green or ivory

or pearl paint pinstripes?!?(as said above)
