If there are no screws on it, I would just mask it off and spray it. That's how I had to do it since the third brake light on 2nd gens is very hard to remove.

Allright I taped everything up and sprayed the light...Now the weather guy is saying rain. The can says 6 hours to set,Does it really need 6 hours to set?Because if it rains I think I'm screwed.

I took mine off to spray it, But it was a bit more difficult.
I had to pull the plastic molding off the inside of the door. Then remove the two screws that hold it in.
In order to remove it completely I had to loosen the rear window.

I didn't wait nearly six hours. It was maybe an hour.
You should be fine.

what did you use and where did you get it at?

I used Nite shades by VHT any auto parts store should have it.

Too late now. But you could have just taped a piece of plastic bag over it before it rained. And just had something waddedup under it to keep it off of the newly painted surface.
