Hey guys i have this bad system and wow do i love it. I got parents tell me that its too loud, teachers from school telling me that imma loose my hearing, and i have cops that tell me i should turn it down before they give me a ticket. got it all for about 3 g. but i only paid 1 cuz my parents love me i guess. here some pics

alpine mrd 501 something like that 1000 watts max 550 rms. And so far i havent had anyone with a louder system then Il Until then i love my baby. Speakers still havent arrive i order mb quartz, dont know what model number i have.

Man 3 g's with that i could i have 2 13.5 w7's with each one being ran with a JL 1000. Some buddy jacked you and your parents. Well depending on what year and ohm the solo l7s are you can get 1 for less than $160 retail (or less on ebay.com) so X that by 2 ($320) so you spent roughly $680 on the head unit, amp and box?

I think the $1k you paid is all it cost. Your parents lied making it seem like you're getting a deal $3k for that is WAYYYYYYYY overpriced. Looks good though, and people here don't take kindly to ignorant bumpers (bump just to annoy others).

One of my friends $1k system is 10 times better than (2 12" JL w3s on a 500w mono JL, JL XR components on a 300/4 JL amp, Clarion touch screen cd player that (you probably went to a car place in town and got ripped off) should have been smarter and bought stuff online at wholesale prices.

that amp is rated at 550RMS, 900 Max, so your giving each sub 225watts RMS whichs is liek 500watts RMS below what kicker suggest..... It surely aint pounding to it potential, hell im gunan give my Kicker l5 1k rms...

I have said it a zillion times I am gonna say it again.

I have worked in live audio for over ten years. I have learned a thing or two about excessive volume and hearing damage.

Be cautious about how long you spend listening to high volumes of music.
100 db inexcess of thirty mineuts is well above the damage threashold.

100 db is 100 db reguardless of frequency. Low or high is all the same.

There is NO cure for hearing loss. Once it is gone it is not comming back.
If you love music, and you want to enjoy it for years to come. Pump it in moderation.

All I am saying is, think about what you are doing. Think about your future and be careful.

why do you say this? Its even in the Kicker manual, that the ported box im running will bump up my RMS handling.... would you like a scanned copy?

Now i might tune down the amp so its not pushing it at a complete 1k, ill just have to see.....
