I was wondering what type of product I could buy at the local O'Reilys Auto Parts to clean my throttle body? Also what steps should I take in cleaning it? Thanks for any help in advance.

Find out from the ford dealer, I think there is some coating in there that regular cleaners can hurt.

Valvoline cleaner

Duey,

I picked up Valvolines throttle body cleaner and it did a pretty good job. Just disconnect the air tube, put a rug underneath the tb to catch the goop that comes out, and spray away. Don't spray too much at first. I did mine in 2 applications. The first time I started it, it barely ran until all the crap passed through. Then I drove the hell out of it around the block to "blow it out". Then repeated the procedure. The partial hesitation I used to experience is gone.

Ford approved spray

ford gave me for free this stuff called air intake system cleaner by BG. I just went to the parts department and my dealer and they just gave it to me. Cleaned all the goop out of there.Don't be scared when the check engine light comes on, it will go off
