New to this board but excited about its level of knowledge.

By marriage I am now a Ford owner and in need of a couple answers:

Clciking noise from front-end was diagnosed by dealer as a worn inner tie rod socket. What's involved in replacing this? Do I have to replace the whole spindle assembly? I can do a tie rode change-out myself, but just wanted to know what I'm getting myself into.

Also need to clean the throttle body as the gas pedal is sticking a little. I'm sure others have asked before, but what is the recommended procedure? Do I need to completely remove throttle body before cleaning or is it as simple as spraying cleaning solution into the body?

Many thanks for any help that can be provided.

There is a recall on the sticking gas pedal/throttle body thing. Check to see if your vehicle is covered in the recall before you invest any time into this.
