Ok i read all the post about tb spacers and decided to get one and see for myself . I got a helex spacer and have had it on and off about 5 times and i have to say it makes a difference . With it my 91 navajo has more pep off the line and shifts alot smoother . Not a huge difference but a worth while improvment for a hundred bucks . I know alot of people will disagree but thats my take on it .

throttle cable slack

If it's eliminating the slack in your throttle cable so the throttle plate opens to WOT then it makes a difference. You can accomplish the same thing with inexpensive cable ties. My Sport is the first vehicle I've owned (out of many) that did not have a throttle cable adjustment.

I had no slack in my throttle cable still notice a difference with tb spacer .
