My throttle has been weak lately so I was prowling around here and found a few things to check (including a rather brilliant zip-tie fix), but when I got under the dash to check cable slack I discovered an entirely new problem. The bracket that the throttle pedal pivots on is spot-welded onto the firewall, but the welds had broken! I knew I was a bit of a lead foot but jeez! I was put in granny-mode. Two self-taps and some JB fixed it right up. Anyone else ever come across this?
