I have a 98 explorer and when I go to stop sometimes my rpm's drop and I almost stall. I think it is the throttle position sensor but I was wondering if anyone else has had a problem with this?

Welcome to the board! Could be the TPS, but another more common cause is a clogged or dysfunctional Idle Air Control valve (IAC). That is what controls the engines idle speed. Run a search and you'll find lots of info about it.
