Hey, My Explorer has been doing this since I got it but it for some reason has gotten louder within the last few days. The Tach make a ticking sound that is synchronized with the engine's RMP. Does anyone's Ex also do this, has anyone fixed this?

Its kind of hard to hear for some reason in the video but its very loud in person.

100% sure its from the cluster, It sounds like valve tapping but its not from the engine.

You know, I have seen some VERY strange noises come through the clusters. The 1988 Chevrolet trucks came with a new style cluster that drove them nuts...and believe it or not, it affected women more than men...and they spent a ton of money figuring that out before they finally did away with that style and went back to a more traditional cluster. So before you condemn the tach, I might suggest you actually take the cluster apart and start it with the tach removed and make sure it is the tach and not some phantom noise transmitting through the cluster. You just might be surprised. And if it is the tach, you can go to the salvage yard, buy one, and toss it in while you have the dash apart.
