Hey guys, its been a while since ive been on this site but i few weeks back i hit (or rather ran over) a mitsubishi eclipse and now its time to rebuild and modify. What happened was i was making a left and he didnt have his lights on and my drivers side tire went up his hood, up the windshield piller and as the tire got to the roof it got ripped off and the truck fell on his roof and fell off the rear quarter. his car was totaled incase you didnt geuss lol. the other thing that sucks is that i just put new ball joints and radius arm bushings on it just for them to get ripped off or broken the next day :( ill post pics of my damage and what ive done to it so far. ANYWAY, the mods im planning on doing are a custom front bumper, and maybe a sas if my brother gives me his spare dana 30, but idk about that 1 yet. so time to get to the pics:

ok hopefully fixed it ^^^^^

Go solid axle.....this reminds me of my explorer...this happened to me once

ill ask about getting the axle then. good to know someone else has been in this situation. im gonna be doing a mock up bumper out of foam board this weekend to see what'll look good, something simple but that'll still look badass. and make a mount for a future winch.

Are you just wanting to rebuild in the current state and fix the bodywork/bumper

well i wanna make it into something more for offroading but its still my daily driver too so i cant do anything too crazy or time consuming yet, if i cant get the solid axle then ill just rebuild the TTB and leave the sas for a summer project but im definately building a custom bumper thats the minimum of my mods that i wanna do right now, i still need to check to see if the Tcase is ok, if thats gone then ill get a better transfercase. i actually dont even know if the motor will still run cuz it stalled after hitting the pavement and the firedepartment cut my battery cables, so if the motors done for some odd reason then ill get a 302 for it. but 1 step at a time.

Much gooder :D

That was a pretty nice looking truck.

I'm trying to find a guys thread on here for his custom front bumper he made, it was a really simple deal, just made a few cuts in a BIG piece of square tubing, looked great. If I can find that I'll post it on here. I looked for a little while, maybe someone will see this thread and remember that bumper and post the link.

Damn. I have a 93 black EX part's truck that I would have given you the left front fender off of but it is the only bad panel.

thats a pretty nice lookin bumper, and 1 of my buddies has a piece of square tube about that size, i might have to borrow that design and add a few little twists to make it my own custom bumper. amd thanks FIND it is a nice looking truck when shes not a smashed lol. and im actually planning on reusing the fender i have if those dents will pop out mostly, dont have alotta money to get new stuff, but thanks anyway man.

ok guys, just a little update, got all new cables and harnesses to get the ruck to start, got a new radius arm and balljoints and heading to the junkyard monday for the fender, steering box and head light assembly. 1 thing i do need a little help with though, the harness is all hooked up right, i triple checked everything but it still wont start. the solonoid blew in the crash so im using a screwdriver to bypass it, the motor will turn over but not start. any suggestions? its got spark but i havent checked fuel yet, and ive been being told that theres an inertia cut off switch on the passenger side of the truck somewhere that stops gas flow after being in an accident, does anyone happen to know where that switch is and how i turn it off? thanks guys and i hope you all had a great christmas.

ok got the truck running

the inertia switch should be in passenger foot well peel back the carpet and look around in there and i think you have to press a button down or pull it up?
o nvm saw u got it runnin
