Hi you there,

Here my contribution to this forum. It´s a couple of Excel files and a PDF indicating:

- A needed / recommended Part Number list to buy before doing the job
,

- A step by step checklist that helped me a lot to not forget a single bolt/nut/gasket or "Should done that before".

- A PDF with photos made by a couple of swede guys who get the job done

I´ve did the timing chain replacement during pandemics but never got time to post it after that up today.

Acknowledgments:
Must mention the contributions posted by FordTechMakuloko @Youtube, 2000StreetRod, and the suede folk grufman (kind regards from the southern hemisphere you northerner) in this forums that helped a lot in the learning process.

Firstly:
Take a look at Procedures / Videos / PDFs @ Internet.

My Best in order:
1) This 4 videos in youtube from FordTechMakuloko channel (the best by far)

https://youtu.be/Awdr7TqB_S8
https://youtu.be/e1P5c8qEO8Y
https://youtu.be/mKAshdcVi_Y
2) This from 2000StreetRod from ExplorerForum (quite good step by step guide too)
How to: - SOHC V6 Timing Chain Inspection & Repair
and
3) this from these swedish guys (it's in swede :D)
How to: Remove 4.0 Engine Explorer 1997-2001

Secondly:
Use/modify/tag/update the Excel files as needed.

Last but not least:
Hope this helps (as it was to me). Enjoy it !!!

Kind regards from the South American down-under
