tire chains anywhere?

if any one lives in the chicagoland area then they would know wat kind of snow we had yesterday now my problem is 2wd sucks and i need to find some tire chains just to get unstuck because i was stuck twice yesterday. yes i know they are illegal but i just need them just in case anyone know where i can find some?

Just curious...

Chains are considered contraband in your state? How can you drive with them on if they are illegal to posses? State troopers won't seize them? And also, I'm not being contentious, but can't you call any auto parts store in Chicago and buy them there? It's just odd that you're looking for something from this site that is illegal to possess in your state... I'm intrigued. I'll just wait to see if anyone can tell you. Thanks!
