I am going large on this tire change and I expect a difference.
A few people have told me the truck will reprogram itself. This I seriously doubt!
Anyone know how to reprogram our trucks for this?

Sometimes the dealer can do it if the diameter is within their parameters, I had to use a Hypertech Speedo Calibrator. It plugs in the OBD port under the dash.

I am not going too much bigger. 235/70 16 to 245/75 16. Enough to go from a 28 inch tire to a 30 inch.

The dealer can do that. I was quoted at $105 dollars for mine but I never did because I went from 30s to 35s

Edit: I guess I forgot to finish my sentence... Anyway the dealer couldnt guarantee that the reprogram would make my speedo completely accurate again because of the drastic size difference but if its a difference of 2 or 3 inches the reprogram can fix it.
