and I'm not too sure why.
Only 1 tire is rubbing; the driver's side.
Now, I never had any rubbing issues with my BFG ATs, but they were also used, and presumably my TrXus STS have an actual diameter that's larger than the BFG's.
Anywho, I just went out and took some measurements...
I determined ride-height, by following how it explains it in the Chilton's.
Dri. side:
Center LCA bolt to floor- 12.25
Lowest portion of knuckle to floor (I used the roughly-center of the part of the knuckle that points inward) - 7.25
Center of hub to bottom of wheel-well - 24.5
Pass. side:
Center LCA bolt to floor - 12.25
Lowest part of knuckle to floor - 7.25
Center of hub to bottom of wheel-well - 24.5
So, they are the same (or, atleast close enough, as my measurements may have been off by 0.25" or so). What would cause only 1 side to rub?
Also, with my stock tires on (all measurements from my stockers), I measured from back of wheel well (lowest portion of body) to tire, on both sides, and both seem to be ~5.25"
What it comes down to.... measurements appear to be identical (enough), that it's not due to one side sagging.
When under a hard left turn, the dri. side tire rubs on the inner fender. On a hard right turn, there is absoultely no rubbing on the pass. side.
Ideas?
