tire size and gear ratio

i have the 3.73 ls gears on my explorer and im wondering if i put 35s, will i eventually lose my transmision or what...im just wondering what all happens if i put the 35s with those gears.

your going to loose your tranny eventually, thoes tires with thoes gears will kill it alot quicker though. as for other things it will be an absoluite dog, pretty much worthless, if you are goign to go with thoes tires regear too

33s and 3.73s should encourage the destruction of your 13 year old A4LD also.

yea, if your serious about off-roading put 35's and regear to 4.56
