Will a 265/75/16 fit on 95 explorer without the TT lift or wll I have to raise it up a bit. How much bigger are they from a 31/10.5/15?

They're about dead on with a 31x10.5. I needed to lift my truck 1.5" (actually went about 2") to fit 31s comfortably. Of course, I have a 2wd sport which is one of the lowest sitting stock Xs. Seems about every X is different. I can tell that without the lift I would have had problems in the front at full turn, and in the rear at full "stuff".

You might want to think about doing a torsion twist/shackle lift. It costs $40 and gives you about 1.5-2" very easily without harmful modification to the stock components. If the lift leaves too much room, you can always go with 32s!

Good luck

Yep you'll need a TT for them not to rub. On mine they still rub slightly because I have worn out, soft bars.

I have that size on now. I put them on before my TT/shackle lift. Check out the thread at Dead Link Removed for pictures of how they filled up my un-lifted '97 Sport wheelwells. I had to cut a piece of plastic in the wheelwells since the tire rubbed on it when turning. I would have had to cut it even with the TT/shackle lift. I performed the TT/shackle lift a few months after getting the tires since I didn't like how stuffed they looked.

Mine fit 31's no problem, no rub or anything. It does seem every explorer has a mind of it's own though.
