Tire valve sensor question

Hi guys, I just had to replace one of the tire valves on my 2005 Explorer. There was a broken piece inside and the valve pin wouldn't sit right, so it kept letting air out of the tire. I'm wondering how to get rid of the error message on my dash about the tire sensor? Does the computer need to be reprogrammed by the dealer? Or is there an easy method to accomplish this, that I can do myself. Currently, I hit the reset button when I start the vehicle, which clears the message, but I'd like to permanently reset it. Thanks for the help.

Thanks Jim...that link/post had exactly what I was looking for. I printed out the instructions and will give it a try as soon as I get the chance. I really appreciate the help.
