This is rediculous. Just tell them you want 4 tires, do they want to sell them or not.

'It's for the shop, I like to keep those in stock, so I don't know yet."
"It's for a tube frame rock crawler project I'm working on, and start listing specs."

Start asking them questions back,

BTW, what is the load rating on that tire?
How many ply?
Whats the sidewall thickness?
MAX PSI.
treadwear/traction/temp ratings.
ask if they can explain the diff between a P255/75/r15 and a 30x10xr15.
