Well I put it off as long as I could (even replaced the rear with some junkyard tires to last us the summer). Now the fall/winter is coming though and it's time to get 4 new tires. The treadwear on our Goodyear Wranglers (came with the truck) in the front was excellent and if it was March I'd keep them a bit longer even.
Anyway, I've looked at the comments on tirerack and I've read the threads here. Kumho seems to make a pretty good tire but I was hoping maybe a few more people would have some feedback on them or an alternative even. I would have liked to get a dedicated winter tire but it's cost prohibitive atm so I guess I'm going all-season. Whatever happened to the all-season tires with at least a mildly agressive pattern?
We live a rural area and it gets nasty when it snows but considering it only snowed 3-4 days last year, I was just hoping for a solid all-season that would also get us to-from work on those snowy days. We do about 30K a year on the truck so treadwear is important also. So do we go with the cheap Kumhos or is there something better someone would recommend?
