Ok so I have a huge dilemma and am not sure what to do. I have been looking at wheels and tires for awhile and have narrowed it down to the American racing fuel 8’s. Now I am not sure whether to get it in a 16” or 17”. I am worried that by going to a bigger diameter tire with the 17", this will change my gear ratio and I will loose the already painfully slow pick up of my V6 even more, and perhaps damage the transmission. Is there any truth to this? I have 3.73 gears and would be looking to go from a 29.5 to a 30.6 inch tire. (I know only and inch)
