Hi Guys
I have a 06 Explorer that has 235/70/16 tires on it now. i can across a set of 4 265/75/16 I bought. I am wanting to put this 265's on it being stock. Will this work or do I need to lift the explorer alittle. I have ran 31x10.5x15 with spacers on this explorer and had little rub at all. I have been reading about tires on this forum. I really don't want to lift the Explorer but if I have to I will.

Thank You

I just put on some BFG MT Rubicon take offs on my Mountaineer. Looks good, cheep, TPS, and included 5 perfect rims and tires with less than 1000 miles. LT255/75R17

Took it on a little ride to the dirt lot...

Here she is after a bath. no rain for a while - but there is snow close by. Will have to see how she does in that with new tires..

Unrelated, but what rims are those? ^^ They look great.

That is totally related since they came as a package deal from a Rubicon tires, rims, and lug nuts

Hi Guys

I put the 265/75/16's on my 06 Explorer. I like it with the bigger tires. I have noticed that if I am running 60 mph by the speedometer I am actually running 64 to 65 mph. Has anyone ever fixed the speedometer to ready accurate or should I leave it alone? I have no rub at all with these tires.

Thank you

Hypertech programmer can fix it.
