to trade or not to trade

I need your help, I have a 1998 eb explorer it has a 4.0soc motor with 180,000 miles on it. my girlfriends dad is trading in his 2004 trail blazer and asked me if i want it for like 6k. it only has 70000 miles on it and is in very nice shape. but I have had my explorer for almost 7 years now and am really liking it. just spent a bunch of money on the front end/tuneup/trans/tires.... almost 2k. so my question is I know nothing about this truck except it has been serviced at a dealership for its entire life and is very clean. should I trade?

Take it

Buy the blazer for 6k or whatever, and sell yours for 3k.
