Ok, as we all know, Explorers are good from 0 to about 40....after that the partial feeling of gravity pushing you back into your seat dies down. This is not so in my dad's V6 Volkswagen Passat. Thing is, I don't have the money to purchase and custom fit a turbo to my truck's engine. What else can be done? I have already gotten rid of the spare tire and pretty much anything else that can be torn out for a total lightening of about 100lbs. This helped a little, but the truck is still slow on the top. I am ordering a Superchip within the next week, and hopefully that will help. But, what else can be done? Must have that quarter-mile speed up a little. Also, NoS is not an option for me, so anything else other than a turbo and Nos that can be done so that I will have better high end speed would be a useful suggestion. Thanks guys.
