Top Removal, roll bars and canvas rear cover.

I am going to cut the top off of my truck and I am wondering if anyone has done it or has seen it done by someone else. I am wondering if/or how I would stabilize the body when I cut the back roof off. I am not sure how far to the front I should cut "has a sunroof" and since it's body on frame, if I need to worry about welding rods across the opening? Anyone out there can give a little help would be appreciated..

I think Turdle on here had a chop top 1st gen at least. Cant remmeber anyone with a 2nd gen.

I moved this thread into the modified section.
As said, there’s been several chop tops done here, maybe search through the Projects section.
I don’t think there would be all that much difference between a first Gen and second Gen in this regard.
