torque converter issues????

hello everyone, I hope somebody can shine some light on my situation... I have the 5r55e trans and I have a torq converter code. transmission shop was nice enough to tell me that but they did not tell me what code. im thinking tcc selenoid but not sure, so this is whats happening.. trans shifts very smooth no slippage, nothing. but when its over 90 degrees or if i tow my boat my trans starts to act like its over heating, shutters. o/d light flashes. once in a while i will feel random slight shutter when taking off from a light. perhaps torque converter is not locking up due to malfunctioning tcc selenoid which is creating more friction and hence more heat? Any ideas or past experience would be awesome. Thanks once again guys... This is the third technical question I have had to ask, I feel as if I owe the administrators some coffee and donuts or somthing.lol You guys are great, thanks

It might just be the solenoid or the connection to the solenoid, but it's better to get the code numbers to be sure.

Autozone/Advanced Auto will read those numbers for free sir.

unfortunately, their scanner doesent pick up the tranny codes.
