To those that have TM headers are they noticeably louder?, My mounty is actually my wife's DD and she totes the 15month old little girly around and I don't want it to sound like a racecar, but afterselling my mustang I'm itching too modify something! LOL. I told the wife they will help with gas mileage and reliability.

Future plan is to get wife a newer ex, and I'm going to keep the mounty. I figured this would be a good start to mods.

thx in advance,

Dan

The will give you a deeper rumble, but you should be fine with the noise if you have the stock exhaust.

I am running the TM headers with a stock exhaust. They are not louder, but the sound is indeed different. I noticed it on first startup, but to someone not familiar with the tone, it's hard to tell the vehicle has aftermarket exhaust parts on it. The 4 cats, muffler and resonator do a good job of cancling out any additional sound.

However, the performance boost with stock exhaust was fantastic.
