That's the trick!! It's a beast. Love it! I swear I gained 40+ horsepower, and the sound is amazing!! Highly recommend this!
Now the issue, I'm running rich as hell now. Idling at 1200-1400, getting 15 miles to the gallon. Anybody got some ideas? I've got a referral for a tune guy in town, haven't had a chance to get by his shop I figured I'd ask the explorer nerds!
Thanks as always!

If you did not disconnect the battery then do so and put your foot on the brake for around 30 seconds. Reconnect it, start and see if it improves. That resets the computer and it will relearn fuel trims for your new set-up.

Thank you so much! Gonna try that

Pics or it never happened...

Sooooo, it only took a year or so, but found the problem.
Apparently I broke a vacuum line down below the the battery box. There’s a junction of vacuum hoses there.
Truck runs way better lol

I was gonna say cutting out exhaust and replacing it should not make the truck run rich
Glad you found the issue, odd that a broken vacuum line would cause a rich condition I was going to guess something was a miss with the 02 sensors

Bolting tmh onto a stock 5.0 explorer sees gains of 24hp!!!
