torsion bar headache!

Hi all, New to this site. Can anyone help? 1999 explorer torsion bar removal.Read where you need special tool, True? Is there any tutorials on the removal and installation? I need to change lower control arm on right side and never worked with torsion bar suspension before. I just dont want to mess up and create another problem. ANY help would be appreciated. thanks.

Why do you need to change the whole lower control arm? Is it damaged? If you need to just change the lower ball joint, then pressing out the ball joint and pressing a new one in is much easier. Regardless, below is a link to a thread on here with a lot of good info.
