hey guys, so im runnin the 4in Superlift on my 99 XLT which i have been runnin for almost a year now, and now im startin to wish i saved up for the sas. my torsion bar is weakening and starting to sag which is causing my tires to tilt inward, bending cv joints etc. obviously my first thought is to simply raise the torsion bar and aligne everything, but this problem will come back again and again and do nothing but weaken my torsion bar even more then it aleady is, im not sure exactly how strong the torsion bar is but im told from friends its not the best idea to continuously jack up the torsion bar bc eventually itll go out on u, so im desperately seeking advice from all of u guys who know a lot more about this topic then i do, i have read on the forums from countless others who jack up their torsion and get away with it fine, but obviously its not the case for me, so what do u suggest i do?

swap out the current bars and run b-rated bars, which are the strongest. Run a search for 4" superlift instal by jdraper ( i honestly cant remeber the SIN) He bought a heavy duty bar and it worked fine.

It could be a couple of things. First, double-check the ride height, and make sure it's spring sag (it's helpful if you know how it rode when the lift was new). Second, check the wheel bearings and ball joints. Both components can cause negative camber issues unrelated to the lift itself. Third, contact Superlift. It's possible that they may recommend something sturdier from their stables.

Good luck!
