'94 XLT
Hi everyone I have a problem with my ABS and thought someone might be able to help. I have a '94 XLT stock EX (with the exception of 31's and a cone air filter). The ABS worked fine when I bought the truck five years ago and slowly went intermitant and then stoped working. Which wasnt a problem because I dont care for ABS much and they default to normal brakes anyways. Latly though the ABS will pulse as I am driving (on the gas) not actualy apling the brakes just pulsing and some times when I brake. Only when I'm braking they grab. The brakes also feel a lot more touchy they lock up easier. Any ideas, can I just bypass my ABS unit with some T's and splices? Thanks

unplug the unit or pull the fuse and thatll take care of the pulsing if its the abs unit

is it all 4 tires that grab orr lock up or just the back ones?

i recently had an episode with an 01 sport trac and over adjusted rears causing it to lock on anything other then he slightest pedal pressure

I'll try unpluging the ABS unit and that the rears are adjusted properly. I replaced the front pads recently and checked/cleaned (they didnt need replaced at the time)the rear while I was at it but I will recheck them. Thanks SuRrEaLNJ
