towing question

I have an 03 ST 4.0 auto with 160k on the clock. I've never had a problem out of the transmission, or anything else for that matter. I was wondering if I could tow an enclosed u-haul trailer from New Jersey to Georgia with a very large wooden table, chairs, and a wooden china cabinet without issue. Or would it be better to get a box truck and a car trailer to put the ST on.

I don't see any issues with this. I tow alot more with my lifted '03 ST and don't have any issues.

Scratch that, you might have a issue with renting a trailer from uhaul since your Sport Trac has the "Explorer" name on it and it's title. You may wanna rent from Budget or borrow someone elses truck (non-Explorer, ST, Ex Sport) you can rent from them with a Mercury Mountaineer even though it's the same thing as an Explorer.
