Towing with the 4.6

[MPP]

Planning on getting a travel trailer for the summer. Have an 09 Ltd with the Class 3/4 trailer package. Anybody have experience with towing 5 to 6,000 lbs with their Sport Trac? Truck feels a bit soft on the back end. Any experience with maximum practical hitch weight (with a weight distributing hitch)?

I thought about buying a travel trailer as well.....I have put it off again, but I was going with a Feather lite trailer. I know I have read a thread on this subject before, so do a search (it may have been in the generation 1 section).
