Tranmission Jerking after fluid change

I took my explorer to a local shop to have the fluid changed. I didnt have the time to mess with it my self and to get around the cat so I had them do it but its been two days and a couple of times I have had my explorer jerk. It will rev up and them go into gear while driving. its only done it a couple of times and both times it was cold. idk what is causing it and they didnt either. My explorer is a 99 4x4 with the 4.0 SOHC. Never did it until they changed it. Any help would be appriciated.

Did you check you fluid level?

I went back and they checked and it was full but the guy drove it and then came back and checked and it was like a pint low. but he filled it up and it has still done it. Like i said seems like its only dont it when cold but I just left from work and put in drive, drove about 10ft and it was like it was in nertural then went back and has been fine on the way home.

If they put anything other than mecron V in it, could it cause it. I would think changing the fluid would make it run better, not slip when cold.

Anyone, I dont wana waste money I dont have getting it flushed. I belive they used some kind of universal bullshit. Its slippin more and more and i dont wana #### it up, im scared to mess something up in it pretty bad.

Find out exactly what they put in your transmission. If its not mercon v compatible have them switch it out for free.

So then that could be the cause of it? Wouldnt they need to flush it to make sure they get it all out.
