Tranny doesn’t let go?

Seemed to happen w/my 2003 XLS too; sometime when coming to a stop my 2007 XLT doesn’t see to un-lock the torque converter.

It’s almost like both the gas and brake pedals are being pushed.

Can be frightening; like in bumper to bumper traffic; or sometime when parking.

Any ideas/thoughts?

If you have a V8, check out this thread. My 06 Limited V8 has the same issue. There is a TSB about it, but it's mixed if the latest TSB actually resolves the issue.

My 2007 does it too?

could be right foot on both; but I don't think so.

I just had the reflash done (per TSB) to my 07 V8 6 speed last week. No more 2-1 bump so far. Since the truck was out of warranty they charged about $150.

Flush on my tranny fluid and did not get the TSB, bump has been gone for months now.
