Tranny HELP!!

OK my A4LD puked and as i type this a shop has my baby on the hoist giving it a rebuild,
Tranny work is VERY expensive and i dont want to do this again for a while so i have searched and this is what i came up with, Autometer gauge pod with tranny temp gauge and larger oil cooler add a electric push fan in front of the oil cooler for more cooling and sacrafice my first born to the explorer gods for luck, did i miss any thing?
if i get a double gauge pod what should i put in the other hole? please let me know if i missed any thing

Put a real oil pressure gauge in the other pod so your engine doesn't puke too.

Smart thinking!!! I found a flexalite tranny cooler with the fan allready on it i paid $219.00cdn at a local speed shop this baby looks trick!! plus i can mount it where ever i want, Summit sells em for around the $130.00 mark you just have to figure out how to wire it in.
