Since I've never had a Explorer before, I dont know the tranny normal behaviour.

Mine come with bad tranny and I'd repair it

New master kit, new solenoids and refurbished D drum

It work well, all gear pass very soft, in the desired rpm, I guess

But it have 2 "issues"?

1.- When I put the D, don't feel the typical pull of the automatic transmission, the gear indeed engage well and the run smooth, but I don't know if something is miss

2.- When I engage "2", the truck move with less power than D or 1, I mean I need more throttle to obtain the same D power and movement.

Are that pressure improperly adjust issues?

Any opinion is appreciated, regards

What codes are being shown when you check ? You do know how to scan for codes? If you do not it's working fine...Yes some trucks without the computer controls where hard to shift but these "newer" transmissions work directly with the engine so it should not be to hard to shift.

After the solenoids change, no check engine and no codes at all..

When you select 2nd gear, it'll start out in 2nd rather than 1st gear that the Drive or 1 selection will start out in. So that's why you have to give it some extra gas. Also, following a rebuild there will be some break-in before it wants to crawl forward on its own in gear. Sounds normal to me.

Ok, I'm just curious because other brands SUV which I had drive (Jeep Cherokee, Chevy Blazer, Dodge Durango, Mitsu Pajero, Hyundai Galloper) all of them give a strong kick when you shift into D, and also with RPMs are low beacuse idle

Um , not usually with the Ford Explorer. At least not mine a 1995 Ford Explorer Expedition. If your not showing any codes drive the truck. Has anyone else driving Ford Trucks with automatic transmission had any of the jerky shifts? I do not think so unless something is wrong.
