tranny swap

ok here i go , i have a 94 explorer xlt and a 95 explorer xlt. the 95 is wrecked i want to know if i can take the tranny out of the 95 and put it in the 94. what issues am i going to face.

Welcome to this forum! Both use EEC-IV, but use a different computer, and wiring harness. The A4LD only has 2 solenoids. The 4R55E has a completely electronic valve body. It requires the computer to control it. You would have to swap the computer, and wiring harness providing that the engine has the same sensors, and controls. If not, then some of the engine's electronics would have to be passed onto it as well.
