tranny swap ???

ok this weekend we pulled the motor and tranny out of my friends x, this is pretty dumb but how the heck do you get the hydrolic line out of the tranny, we tried messing with it for awhile but cant figure how it comes loose, any answers are appreciated, thanks, mike

What you are looking at is a "crush collar"type pressure fitting. With a flat head screwdriver pry the white plastic ring so it slides inside the collar, make sure it's all the way in all the way around and the fitting will come apart.

It's easier then it sounds, sometimes two screwdrivers work well. Dont force it, it will come apart easy if you do it right.
