trans fluid change, and air filter

ok....... im overdue on my trans fluid change and iwas wondering what kind and how much. its a 97 4.0l ohv automatic. also......before my parents got devorced he was the one that changed the air filters and such. but ford used 2 diffrent type of circular air intakes. the oone they dident tell that they used it and the one i need is the one that is flat, not the one that looks like a rocket ship. but ford never said about the 2 diffrent types. so i was wondering if anyone knows what im talking about and could tell me what the filter number is i need(stp,fram, ect).

When you do the tranny fluid change, be sure to drop the pan and remove and replace the filter as well as doing a complete fluid change.

I highly recommend using synthetic fluid also.
