Any Idea what this trans leak is. Most of it is on the pam, but it looks like there is a trail from the back of the bell housing. See pic

There is a gasket between the bell housing, and the actual transmission. It might be possible that the front seal inside of the bell housing is leaking, but your picture points to the bell housing seal.

So the tranny would have to come out to replace the bell seal?
 






Before tearing out your transmission, wipe everything clean, then start it up. Check it again to see if it is leaking. Drip marks could be coming from a near by area, not necessarily where they are now.
